موقع  ArabiaWeather.com- أعلنت سلطة منطقة العقبة الاقتصادية الخاصة عن حالة الطوارئ في المحافظة يوم أمس لمواجهة الأحوال الجوية والأمطار الرعدية القادمة على محافظة العقبة اعتباراً من اليوم الأحد.

 

في حين قام رئيس سلطة منطقة العقبة الدكتور هاني الملقي ومفوض المدينة المهندس عبدالله ياسين بتفقد مجاري السيول وقنوات تصريف مياة الأمطار والاطلاع على كافة الاستعدادات للتعامل مع السيول ومياه الأمطار والتأكد من جاهزية البنية التحتية للتعامل مع السيول في حال تشكلها.

 

وقال مفوض المدينة المهندس عبدالله ياسين أن كوادر مفوضية المدينة قامت بتنظيف قنوات جريان السيول وقنوات تصريف مياه الأمطار وتجهيز خطة الطوارىء وبدء العمل بها.

وتم تبليغ جميع المواطنين القاطنين قرب مجاري السيول في منطقة الشامية والتاسعة والشلالة بخطورة التواجد في تلك المناطق حفاظًا على حياتهم من خطر السيول والانجرافات الترابية والابتعاد عن مناطق تجمع مياه الأمطار والسيول.
