وتتساقط زخات الثلوج المتفرقة التي تكون كثيفة احيانا على المرتعات الجبلية العالية التي تصل الى اكثر من 1400-1500 مترا ، ويحذر من تراكم الثلوج في بعض المناطق.

 

وتترافق مع تساقط الثلوج رياح باردة جدا وتكون غربية نشطة السرعة.

 

وتتأثر منطقة حوض شرق المتوسط وشمال غرب المملكة بكتلة هوائية باردة جدا وقطبية المنشأ، حيث اندفعت بشكل سريع ومباشر نحو المنطقة، وسببت هذه الكتلة الثلوج الكثيفة على مناطق تقع على مستوى سطح البحر فوق تركيا مثل اسطنبول، كذلك تسبب الامطار الشديدة والثلوج الكثيفة فوق بلاد الشام ودول حوض شرق المتوسط.
