موقع ArabiaWeather.com- تسببت الفيضانات التي تجتاح الأجزاء الشرقية والشمالية من الفلبين منذ أيام جراء هطول الأمطار الموسمية بغزارة، بوفاة تسعة أشخاص وفقد ستة آخرون، وفقا لتصريحات مسؤولي الإغاثة من الكوارث في الفلبين أمس الثلاثاء.

 

وبين رئيس مكتب الدفاع المدني في الفلبين، ريكاردو جلاد، أن ما يزيد عن 20 ألف شخص فروا من منازلهم  في المناطق المتضررة بسبب الفيضانات، بما في ذلك العاصمة مانيلا، لافتا إلى أن أغلب القتلى غرقوا في الفيضانات والأنهار التي فاضت على ضفافها.

 

وذكر مكتب الأرصاد الجوية بأن الأحوال الجوية السيئة ستستمر طوال الأسبوع الجاري، محذرا من احتمال وقوع المزيد من الفيضانات والانهيارات الأرضية.
