موقع ArabiaWeather.com- شهدت الهند أحوالًا جوية مُتطرفة خلال الأيام الماضية، تمثّلت بهطول أمطارٍ مُتواصلة شديدة الغزارة، خلّفت موجة فيضاناتٍ عارمة وأودت بحياة 27 شخصاً على الأقل بحسب ما أعلنته الجهات الرسمية في ولاية "تاميل نادو" جنوبي الهند.

 

وصرحت رئيسة وزراء الولاية "غي غايالاليثا" في بيان لها أن الفيضانات اجتاحت العديد من المناطق خاصة منطقة "كودالو"، مؤكدة على أن أعمال الإغاثة والإنقاذ تجري على قدمٍ وساق.

 

وأكدت "غي غايالاليثا" على أن المناطق المنكوبة تُعاني من انقطاعٍ تام في شبكات الطرق، الأمر الذي يُعرقل جهود الإنقاذ وإيصال المساعدات والخيام للمتضررين.
