وكانت مديرية الدفاع المدني في الرياض قد كشفت مساء الثلاثاء عن تعاملها مع ٤٩ مركبة محتجزة في برك مائية خلفتها الأمطار، وطالب الناطق الإعلامي للمديرية، الرائد محمد الحمادي دعا المواطنين والمقيمين لاتباع إرشادات السلامة في مثل هذه الأحوال الجوية، والابتعاد عن مواقع تجمعات المياه ومجاري الأودية والسيول.
