موقع ArabiaWeather.com- أكد عدد من النشطاء اليمنيين على موقع فيس بوك،  مقتل رجل وامرأة وإصابة العشرات في جزيرة سقطرى؛ بسبب إعصار ميغ الذي اجتاح الجزيرة صباح اليوم الأحد.

 

واكدت الأنباء عن إلحاق الإعصار خسائر فادحة في الجزيرة، حيث جرفت السيول التي تشكلت عقب وصوله سيارات واقتلعت العشرات من أشجار النخيل.

 

وأكد أهالي الجزيرة أن قوة  "ميغ" تفوق قوة الإعصار تشابالا مرات عدة،  وان الأضرار المادية التي خلفها جسيمة. كما دمر الإعصار شبكة الكهرباء وقطع الطرقات وشبكة الهاتف
