موقع ArabiaWeather.com – أطلقت "ناسا" اسم طالب طب أردني على أحد الكواكب المكتشفة حديثا تكريما لجهوده العلمية في مجال البحوث وخاصة الرياضيات. وفقا لموقع عمون.

 

 واستخدمت "ناسا" اسم الطالب صلاح الدين ابو الشيخ للتعريف بالكوكب "28831 Abu-Alshaikh" المكتشف في أيار عام 2000 من قبل فريق أبحاث مختبر لنكولن لاكتشاف الكويكبات القريبة من الأرض في مدينة سوكورو التابعة لولاية تكساس الأميركية.

 

وسجل الكوكب "Minor planet" بشكل رسمي على الموقع بوكالة الفضاء الأمريكية. ويذكر ان ابو الشيخ قد فاز بجائزة انتل للرياضيات العام 2013 بعد مشاركته ببحث متقدم ممثلا لمدرسة اليوبيل.
