وكانت السلطات قد أجلت نحو 230 ألف شخص يعيشون في مناطق معرضة للخطر، وأمرت 33200 قارب صيد بالعودة إلى الميناء.     

 

وقال مركز الأرصاد الجوية الصيني إن العاصفة وصلت اليابسة حوالي 1.45 مساء في بلدية تشيوانتشو، مع رياح بلغت سرعتها 90 كيلومتر في الساعة.

 

وخلف الإعصار قتيلان و72 مصابا في تايوان. كما ألغت السلطات عشرات الرحلات الجوية وأغلقت المدارس والمكاتب منذ يوم الخميس، تحسبا لتداعيات الإعصار "نيبارتاك"، الذي يعد أول عاصفة استوائية تضرب البلاد في "موسم الأعاصير".
