وخلف الإعصار قتيلان و72 مصابا في تايوان. كما ألغت السلطات عشرات الرحلات الجوية وأغلقت المدارس والمكاتب منذ يوم الخميس، تحسبا لتداعيات الإعصار "نيبارتاك"، الذي يعد أول عاصفة استوائية تضرب البلاد في "موسم الأعاصير".
