موقع ArabiaWeather.com- أعلنت السلطات المحلية في مدينة ساسكاتشوان الكندية يوم أمس الإثنين، حالة الطوارىء بعد أن امتلأت الشوارع بالمياه التي حاصرت المنازل وغطت السيارات حتى المرايا وجعلت الشوارع كالأنهار، جراء الفيضانات العارمة التي ضربت المدينة.

 

وأصدرت وزارة البيئة الكندية بيانا حذرت فيه السكان من هطول المزيد من الأمطار على أجزاء من جنوب المدينة كما حذرت من استمرار العواصف .

 

وقالت سلطات المدينة لوسائل الإعلام الكندية إن العواصف الشديدة التي صاحبت الفيضانات تسببت بانقطاع الكهرباء عن نصف سكان المدينة بسبب سقوط الأشجار وغزارة المياه.
