وقال العقيد خالد بن مبارك الجهني وهو الناطق الإعلامي لمديرية الدفاع المدني بمنطقة المدينة المنورة بأن فرق الدفاع المدني باشرت 10 حالات احتجاز لمركبات من جراء الأمطار، وأنه تم سحب مركبة واحدة من داخل السيول لم يكُن بها أي شخص، في حين تم إنقاذ 29 شخصاً جرفتهم السيول، وهم جميعاً في صحة جيدة ولله الحمد.

و يُجدد موقع طقس العرب تحذيراته لسُكان المناطق السعودية المتأثرة بحالة من عدم الاستقرار الجوي من مغبة الاقتراب من مجاري الأودية والسيول وأماكن تجمع الأمطار حرصاً على سلامتهم.
