استراليا.. رفع درجة العاصفة الاستوائية "دونا" إلى الفئة الخامسة

طقس العرب- جرى رفع العاصفة الاستوائية "دونا" التي تتجه نحو كاليدونيا الجديدة فى جنوب المحيط الهادى إلى الفئة الخامسة، وهى اكثر مستويات العواصف تدميرًا.

 

وتشير التقديرات إلى أن العواصف القريبة من مركز "دونا" تصل الى 300 كم فى الساعة،  وفقا الأرصاد الجوية والمخاطر الأرضية في جزيرة فانواتو.

 

وقامت السلطات في كاليدونيا الجديدة  بتعطيل المدارس يومي الاثنين والثلاثاء، وألغيت الرحلات الداخلية في كاليدونيا الجديدة وشمالها وفي فانواتو تحسبا لوصول العاصفة "دونا"، وفقا لـ "رويترز".

 

واجتاحت العاصفة خلال عطلة نهاية الأسبوع الماضي كانت غرب فانواتو، حيث شهدت العاصمة بورت فيلا هطولًا غزيرًا للأمطار.
