Rain clouds continue to advance into the Kingdom, accompanied by hail showers over the high mountainous areas.

Arab Weather - The latest satellite images from the Arab Weather Regional Center show the low pressure system centered in the afternoon hours of Thursday, March 20, 2025, in the northeastern part of Syria, pushing more rain clouds towards several areas of the Levant, including the Palestinian territories, and reaching several areas of Jordan.

Rain clouds will continue to advance intermittently over the coming hours towards several parts of the Kingdom, especially the northern and central regions, including the capital. They will occasionally reach the highlands of Karak and Tafilah, where showers of rain will fall, sometimes heavy, especially in the north of the country, and may be accompanied by hail over the high mountainous areas.

Heavy rains hit the Gaza Strip, causing major disturbances in the sea waves.

According to the latest satellite images received by the Arab Weather Center, heavy rain clouds continue to sweep across several areas of the Gaza Strip. Further rainfall is expected in the coming hours, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis affecting more than two million people, with a significant rise in Mediterranean waves along the coast.
