Hosha tunnel closed in Mafraq due to heavy rain

Arab Weather - The heavy rains witnessed in areas in the Mafraq governorate caused the closure of the Hosha tunnel in front of the vehicles due to the flow of large quantities of rainwater laden with rubble.

The Director of Mafraq Governorate Works, Engineer Ayman Al-Sa`idah, told Ruya, that the tunnel was closed in front of the vehicles and warning signs were placed at its entrances to ensure that vehicles did not enter the tunnel to ensure the safety of drivers, indicating that tomorrow the tunnel will be cleaned of rubble and water suctioned in preparation for opening it or the movement of vehicles.
