ويتوقع أن يزداد نشاط الرياح السطحية والتي من المحتمل أن تترافق مع هبات رياح قوية تتجاوز سرعتها حاجز 100 كم/ساعة، تؤدي الى تدني كبير في مدى الرؤية الأفقية وربما انعدامها في المناطق الصحراوية.
