Arab Weather - Meteorologists at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that temperature maps show that minimum temperatures, recorded minutes after sunrise, are expected to drop in the coming days. Consequently, the weather will become relatively cold to cold across various regions of the Kingdom during the night and early morning hours, particularly over the high mountain peaks, especially in the southern regions, in addition to the eastern plains.
The latest numerical model outputs indicate that minimum temperatures will drop to between 9 and 12 degrees Celsius over the high mountain peaks and plain areas, while minimum temperatures will be less than 9 degrees Celsius over the peaks of the Sharah Mountains (reaching about 7 degrees Celsius) amid cold but refreshing weather.
The weather then (i.e., after midnight and early morning) becomes unsuitable for outdoor seating due to the combination of cold weather conditions and high relative humidity, as well as occasional active northwesterly winds. Therefore, Arab Weather recommends wearing a coat to cope with the cool weather during the dawn and early morning hours in the high mountainous areas and eastern plains.
As nighttime temperatures drop in the coming nights, temperature differences between day and night are expected to become significant, with temperature differences ranging from 8-10 degrees Celsius.
Therefore, the Arab Weather website warns of temperature differences and relatively cold weather during the night hours, which contributes to an increased risk of colds and seasonal illnesses, especially among children.
And God knows best.
