Jordan/ Update 10:40 p.m.: Heavy thunderstorms now over large areas of the south, including Wadi Musa, Petra, and Karak, with a warning of the danger of sudden torrential rains.

Arabia Weather - The latest satellite images at the Arab Regional Weather Center indicate that the southern regions of the Kingdom, including the Petra District, Wadi Musa, Shobak, and Karak, are affected by strong cumulonimbus clouds accompanied by heavy thunderstorms.

It is recommended to be careful in low-lying areas, valleys, valley streams, and reefs in anticipation of the occurrence and formation of sudden floods.
