Jordan/ Weather update: Dense dust waves affect many areas and will extend to the capital shortly.

Arab Weather - The Arab Weather team has received reports via the "You Are the Observer" platform on the application that several areas have been affected by heavy dust waves, significantly reducing visibility. These include the Queen Alia Airport area, Zarqa, and neighboring areas. This is due to downdrafts accompanying thunderstorms affecting the eastern parts of the Kingdom.

These dust storms are expected to spread to some major cities, including the capital, Amman, shortly thereafter. Therefore, it is recommended to be vigilant, close windows, and take necessary precautions for those with respiratory and eye conditions.
