Injuries, recovery and examinations:

  • Today, (117) cases of the new Coronavirus were recorded, as follows:
  • (113) Local cases were distributed as follows:
  • (76) cases were in the governorate of the capital, Amman, of which (33) cases were in contact with previous injured, and (43) cases are under investigation.
  • (16) Cases in Zarqa Governorate, close to the previous injured.
  • (15) One case in Al Balqa governorate, close to the previous injured.
  • (3) Cases in Karak governorate, mixing with previous injured.
  • Two cases in Irbid governorate, contacts of former injured.
  • One case in Jerash governorate, in contact with a previous injured person.
  • (4) External cases, among those coming from abroad, who stay in quarantine hotels.
  • This brings the total number of cases in the Kingdom to (3062) cases.
  • The death of a sixty-year-old woman was recorded at Prince Hamzah Hospital, bringing the total number of deaths to (22).
  • (72) recoveries were recorded today, (14) in Prince Hamzah Hospital, (55) in the area for isolating the injured in the Dead Sea, and (3) in Queen Alia Hospital.
  • (9222) laboratory tests were performed, bringing the total number of tests to (968,247).

Other actions:

In light of the high number of local injuries, the Ministry of Health calls on everyone to adhere to Defense Order No. (11) for the year 2020 AD, to follow safety and prevention standards, wear masks, and not hold gatherings of more than (20) people, and use the (safety) app, and the (Shatak) app.
