Sinan Khalaf - Arab Weather experts reported that the latest outputs of computer simulation systems indicate - thanks be to God - that next week and the last days of the year will witness changes in weather systems in favor of the eastern Mediterranean basin and the Levant, which heralds the return of weather fluctuations and rainfall, God willing, in large parts during next week.
In detail, the latest weather maps indicate that a stubborn high pressure system will dominate large parts of western Europe, pushing cold polar air masses towards the eastern parts of the continent, opening the way for cold winds to leak towards Turkey and the eastern Mediterranean basin, and the emergence of rainy conditions and low pressure systems affecting large parts of the Levant.
Weather experts predicted that rainfall would return to large parts of the Levant region during the coming week and the last days of the year, in the form of snowfall over the high mountains of Syria and Lebanon. Rain chances are also expected to return to parts of Jordan after a period of temporary interruption.
Arab Weather is monitoring the possibility of the region remaining under the influence of the same weather systems and the continued flow of cold air towards the region during the coming period, which means the possibility of the formation of more rainy conditions and their impact on the region. Arab Weather will issue more detailed reports on this as it happens.
