موقع ArabiaWeather.com- منعت الأردن السعوديين مؤخراً من إدخال وصيد الصقور على أراضيها، وأبلغت السفارة السعودية بالأردن بقرار منع الصيد باستخدام الصقور أو إدخالها بطرق غير قانونية.

 
وذكرت صحيفة سبق بأن السفارة السعودية تلقت برقية من وزارة الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين بالأردن متضمنة تأكيد الجهات الأردنية على قرار منع الصيد باستخدام الصقور داخل الأردن، أو إدخالها بطرق غير قانونية وبما يخالف اتفاقية "السايتس" التي تتبناها أكثر من 175 دولة.

 

 

يشار إلى أن إتفاقية "السايتس" هي اتفاق دولي بين الحكومات بهدف وضع الضمانات اللازمة لعدم تهديد التجارة الدولية في هذه الأنواع لحياتها وبقائها.

 

وكلمة "سايتس" هي اختصار للاسم المطول: اتفاقية الاتجار الدولي بالحيوانات والنباتات المهددة بالإنقراض.
