Arab Weather - Weather experts at the Arab Weather Center said that the Kingdom will be affected, God willing, starting from tonight, by the first rainy weather conditions within the framework of being affected by a series of rainy weather conditions and fluctuations, which the Arab Weather Center named "Ghaith".
The first of these cases is expected to begin tonight in the form of a strong weather instability, bringing heavy rain to many regions of the Kingdom.
God willing, during the night of Wednesday/Thursday and into Thursday morning, the Kingdom is expected to be affected by a state of atmospheric instability, likely to be strong in some areas, leading to rainfall across wide regions. This rainfall is also expected to be heavy at times, accompanied by lightning and thunder, and possibly hail, particularly in the southern regions.
In the south of the Kingdom, the effects of the situation will be on the highlands of Karak and Tafila, the Gulf and city of Aqaba, Wadi Rum, the Disi Basin and the surrounding areas, the Shara Mountains, Wadi Musa, the Southern Ghor, the Dead Sea, Wadi Araba and the roads leading to it, and the desert areas including the city of Ma’an and Al-Jafr, reaching the Al-Mudawwara border area and the road leading to it.
These unstable weather conditions necessitate attention to potential hazards, increased chances of flash floods and torrents, as well as the possibility of dust storms in desert areas due to downdrafts.
Arab Weather confirms that this situation is the first in a series of weather events expected to affect the Kingdom during the remainder of this month.
And God knows best.
