The Minister of Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Wajeeh Aweys, decided the following:

  1. School students schedule 8:15 a.m
  2. The first class starts at 8:30 am
  3. All schools will open their doors to receive students at 7:45 am; This is to allow parents, especially employees, to deliver their children to schools before the start of the working hours of ministries and public institutions, which start at 8:30 in the morning.

As for the 882 schools in which the two-shift system is applied, the daily study ends before sunset.

According to the decision, working hours, times and periods of school classes will start from Sunday, October 30, and continue until April 2, 2023.
