Arab Weather - The weather maps in Arab Weather indicate that the Kingdom will be affected, God willing, on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, by a second-degree (normal) low-pressure system, which is the first in the fifty days of winter this year. This low-pressure system will bring back cold winter weather to the Kingdom with rainfall, God willing, in many areas, especially the northern and central regions.
Prior to the arrival of the low-pressure system, temperatures will be several degrees Celsius higher than expected, with mild weather prevailing during the afternoon. Highs in the mountainous regions will reach around 20 degrees Celsius on Sunday and Monday, and will exceed that in lower-lying areas. Dust-raising winds are also expected in the desert and eastern plains.
The Kingdom will be affected, God willing, by a low-pressure system accompanied by a cold and humid air mass on Tuesday, leading to a noticeable drop in temperatures compared to the beginning of the week. The weather will become generally cold, and cloud cover is expected to increase. Rain is expected in the early morning hours in the north of the Kingdom, extending to the central regions and later during the day to parts of the south and east. Rain will be heavy at times in parts of the north and center of the Kingdom and may be accompanied by thunder.
There is also a noticeable increase in the speed of the westerly winds, which may be accompanied by strong gusts exceeding 60 km/h, especially in the eastern plains and desert regions, leading to dust storms in those areas.
