Jordan - Weekend | The effect of the high altitude on the Kingdom continues, and the weather is stable and warm in the Jordan Valley

Arab Weather - The latest output of the numerical weather models processed by the Air Operations Department at the Arab Weather Center indicates that the Kingdom continues to be affected by an air high, as temperatures remain higher than their rates for this time of the year on Friday and Saturday, but the tangible temperatures will remain low.

Cold weather prevails in general during the weekend, especially over the mountainous heights, while it is pleasant in the low areas, including the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the city of Aqaba. The weather is often clear over all regions of the Kingdom, and some scattered clouds may appear in some parts.

Light and choppy winds Friday, shifting to southeasterly Saturday

It is expected that the country will blow light to moderate and volatile gains on Friday.

Moderate southeasterly winds will blow over the Kingdom during Saturday, active at times, especially in the mountainous heights and the Shafa Ghoria regions, and they work to increase the sense of coldness when active, especially when standing in the shade.

Cold to frigid nights with chances of fog

Night temperatures will decrease during the coming nights and the weather will be cold in all regions, turning to become very cold with the late night hours over several parts of the Kingdom, especially over the mountainous heights and the eastern and desert plains regions.

There is a possibility of fog forming over parts of the eastern plains with the hours of Friday/Saturday night.
