موقع ArabiaWeather.com- أكدت هيئة الأرصاد الجوية اليابانية اليوم الأربعاء، ارتفاع  احتمالية تشكل ظاهرة النينيو بشكل كبير خلال الصيف الحالي، والتي قد تستمر حتى موسم الشتاء.

 

 وبينت أن استمرار ارتفاع درجة حرارة المياه السطحية للمحيط الهادي، يزيد من توافر ظروف تكون النينيو حتى نهاية عام 2015.

 

وتحدث ظاهرة النينيو المناخية نتيجة لارتفاع درجة حرارة سطح البحر في المحيط الهادي وتظهر كل ما يتراوح بين 4- 12 عاما.

 

وتُسبب موجة من الجفاف والحر اللافح في جنوب شرق آسيا وشرق افريقيا واستراليا وفيضانات وهطول امطار غزيرة في أمريكا الجنوبية، وتلحق أضرارا بانتاج الاغذية الرئيسية مثل الارز والقمح والذرة والسكر وزيت النخيل.
