Saudi Arabia's National Center of Meteorology (NCM) stated that active winds, causing dust storms, will continue to affect parts of the Eastern Province, Riyadh, and Najran on Tuesday, reducing visibility on some roads.

 

Meanwhile, there is a chance of thunderstorms forming over parts of Jazan, Asir, Al Bahah, and Makkah Al Mukarramah , with expectations of moderate to heavy rain accompanied by hail and active downwind.

 

Expected temperatures today

According to the weather forecast, maximum temperatures range between 42°C in Makkah and just 17°C in Abha. Madinah will record 41°C, Riyadh 40°C, Dammam 40°C, Jeddah 38°C, Jazan 36°C, and Al Bahah 27°C.

 

State of the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf

Red Sea: Northwesterly to northerly surface winds at 25-45 km/h over the northern and central parts, and westerly to southwesterly winds at 15-30 km/h over the southern parts, possibly reaching 50 km/h toward the Gulf of Aqaba. There is a chance of thunderstorms and rain in the southern part. Wave heights range from one to two meters in the north, reaching two and a half meters in the south.

 

Arabian Gulf: Northwesterly winds will prevail at a speed of 15-40 km/h, with waves ranging from half a meter to two meters high, and sea conditions will be light to medium.
