وتأتي حالة عدم الاستقرار هذه نتيجة لدخول جبهة هوائية باردة على منطقة الخليج العربي عملت على هطول الأمطار الغزيرة أحياناً على العديد من مناطق شمال الجزيرة العربية وشرقها بما فيها قطر والمنطقة الشرقية في المملكة العربية السعودية.
