UAE: Dense fog returns to large areas tonight and into late Thursday morning

Arab Weather - The Arab Weather app indicates expectations of a significant increase in humidity again tonight, Wednesday/Thursday night, with humidity exceeding 95% in some areas, coinciding with calm winds, creating conditions conducive to fog formation over large areas of the country.

The fog covers inland and coastal areas of the country, including the capital, as well as external roads.

The fog begins to form during the night hours and continues until the late morning hours of Thursday before gradually fading away due to the rising temperature of the Earth's surface. The chances of fog formation include most of the inland areas, especially the western inland areas, including Zayed City and Ruwais.

The chances of fog formation extend to include coastal areas of the country, in addition to the highways that connect the interior regions with the coastal areas. It is not unlikely that the fog will be dense at times, causing a decrease and perhaps even a complete lack of horizontal visibility.

Therefore, the Arab Weather website advises drivers to take the necessary precautions while driving on roads that experience fog formation and reduced horizontal visibility.

In this regard, the National Center of Meteorology indicated in its daily bulletin that the weather is expected to be humid tonight and Thursday morning, with chances of fog or light fog forming over some coastal and inland areas.
