ويتوقع بمشيئة الله أن تتعرض هذه المناطق لهبوب رياح شمالية غربية نشطة السرعة، تعمل على إثارة موجة كبيرة من الأتربة و الغبار، ويتوقع أن تعمل هذه الرياح وما يُصاحبها من أتربة مثارة وغبار على تدني مدى الرؤية الأفقية خاصة في الأجزاء الشرقية من المملكة وربما الوسطى والرياض.

 

يُشار إلى أنه يُطلق على هذه الرياح بالبوارح الموسمية ويبدأ تأثيرها على الكويت ومنطقة الخليج العربي بنهاية شهر مايو، ليشتد خلال يونيو ويستمر حتى يوليو، ويرجع نشاطها إلى اختلاف الضغط الجوي بين شمال غرب السعودية وجنوب شرقها.
