وأفادت هيئة الإذاعة والتلفزيون اليابانية ( إن إتش كيه ) أنه تم إلغاء 200 رحلة جوية إلى جانب عرقلت حركة القطارات ، مما تسبب بازدحام الركاب وحالة من الفوضى.

 

وأضافت أن بعض محطات السكك الحديدية كانت تعج بحشود كبيرة من الركاب، وقد تم تقييد الدخول لبعض الأرصفة بعد أن عرقلت الثلوج حركة القطارات، مما أدى لازدحام الركاب.
