الحرائق والجفاف يداهمان ولايات الساحل الغربي الامريكي

موقع ArabiaWeather.com- تشهد عدد من ولايات الساحل الغربي الأمريكي حرائق هائلة في الغابات رافقها  موجة من الجفاف وموجة حر شديدة؛ مما يزيد من احتمالية انتشار الحرائق  بشكل كبير في الأيام القادمة؛ خاصة أن درجات الحرارة مرشحة للارتفاع أكثر.

 

وبين مسؤولون أمريكيون أن رجال الإطفاء في ولايات الاسكا وأوريجون وكاليفورنيا، يكافحون عددا من الحرائق؛ حيث سيطروا على حريقين كبيرين في منطقة انكوراج بألاسكا دمرا عشرات المنازل. كما سمحت السلطات لبعض السكان بالعودة الى منازلهم.

 

واستفاد رجال الاطفاء الذين يكافحون 150 حريقا نشطا في الاسكا من تراجع مؤقت لدرجات الحرارة لاطفاء الحرائق والسيطرة على جزء منها، إلا أن  مسؤولو الهيئة الوطنية للارصاد أكدوا  ان الاحوال الجافة تجعل الكثير من مناطق الاسكا مهددة بانتشار الحرائق، وفقا لـ "رويترز".
