طقس العرب – عمر الدجاني – يُتوقع ان تشهد المملكة موجة جديدة من الغبار اليوم الخميس، يتركز تأثيرها في المنطقة الشرقية وأجزاء من منطقة الرياض.

 

وتهب على هذه المناطق رياح شمالية إلى شمالية غربية نشطة، فيما يُعرف محلياً برياح البوارح، ما يعمل على إثارة الأتربة والغبار وتدني مدى الرؤية الأفقية.

 

ويمتد الغبار تدريجياً خلال الـ 24 ساعة القادمة نحو بعض المناطق الجنوبية الغربية من البلاد.

 

وتنتج رياح "البوارح" نظراً لفروقات الضغط الجوي ما بين المرتفع الموجود شمال غرب السعودية وفوق مناطق بلاد الشام، و المنخفضات الجوية السطحية الموجودة فوق الخليج العربية وإيران وجنوب شرق الجزيرة العربية خلال فصل الصيف، وتساعد تضاريس المنطقة الشرقية المُنبسطة إضافة إلى المُسطح المائي المُتمثل في الخليج العربي في زيادة سرعة الرياح.

 

ويُحذر بالتالي من خطر تدني مدى الرؤية الأفقية بسبب الاتربة في المنطقة الشرقية وأجزاء من منطقة الرياض، ومن خطر حدوث مضاعفات لدى مرضى الجهاز التنفسي والعيون.
