Saudi Arabia: Meteorology Department publishes rainfall and temperature forecasts for summer 2026.

The National Center for Meteorology in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued the seasonal climate forecast for the summer of 2026 (June - July - August), which indicates that temperatures will continue to be higher than normal in large areas of the Kingdom, within the seasonal climate forecast for the summer of 2026, coinciding with a decrease in the chances of rainfall in a number of regions during parts of the season.

• Temperatures: About (1.0) degrees Celsius above average in: Jazan, Al-Baha, parts of Makkah, Asir, Madinah, Riyadh, Hail, Al-Qassim, Tabuk.
• Rainfall: Around climatic averages in all regions of the Kingdom.

July weather forecast

• Temperatures: About (1.6) degrees Celsius higher than average in: Jazan, Al-Baha, Asir, Makkah Al-Mukarramah.
• Rainfall: Below average in: Jazan, Al-Baha, Asir, Makkah, Najran, Eastern Province.
• About the average in the rest of the regions.

August weather forecast

• Temperatures: About (1.6) degrees Celsius higher than average in: Jazan, Al-Baha, Asir, Makkah Al-Mukarramah.
