Saudi Arabia announced the success of the Hajj season of 1447 AH, stressing that the season witnessed an integrated system of security, organization and services that enabled pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and peace of mind.
Deputy Governor of Makkah Region and Vice Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah, Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdul Aziz, said on the X platform: “The success achieved was thanks to the support and guidance provided by the Saudi leadership, in addition to the integration of efforts between the various entities involved in Hajj operations.”
He added: The holy sites appeared in a manner characterized by organization and harmony, reflecting the Kingdom's ability to manage crowds and provide services and care for pilgrims.
Saud bin Mishaal affirmed that Saudi Arabia will continue to develop Hajj and Umrah services and harness capabilities to ensure that pilgrims perform their rituals in a safe and organized environment.
This year’s Hajj season witnessed the implementation of extensive organizational, service and security plans, including crowd management and the development of transportation, health and housing services, as part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to facilitate the performance of rituals for millions of pilgrims coming from different countries around the world.
