Arab Weather - God willing, Iraq is expected to be further affected on Sunday by what is known as a heat dome, accompanied by an extremely hot air mass with a blazing center, leading to a further rise in temperatures. There are fears that temperatures could exceed 50 degrees Celsius in the capital, Baghdad, which is likely to be among the hottest places in the world tomorrow, Sunday.
God willing, a blazing center of an extremely hot air mass is expected to position itself over Iraq on Sunday, very close to the capital, Baghdad. Consequently, the weather will be scorching during the daytime across all regions, including the northern regions and residential areas. Therefore, it is recommended not to leave the house during peak hours unless absolutely necessary, due to the increased risk of heat exhaustion.
1- Avoid prolonged and direct exposure to sunlight.
2- Drink sufficient amounts of fluids and moisturizers constantly.
3- Do not leave children inside closed vehicles, even for a short period.
4- Do not leave pressurized containers or any flammable materials inside closed vehicles under the sun.
5- Wear loose, light-colored clothing and hats.
6- In hot weather, it is recommended to be careful of snakes and scorpions, in addition to the spread of insects.
7- Advice for farmers to increase watering of crops during the heat wave.
