Iraq: Will the country be affected by its first heat wave this month in the coming days?

Arab Weather - God willing, and according to the latest computer simulations, heat waves are expected to recede from Iraq in the coming days. Temperatures are expected to be around their average for this time of year, and the weather will be hot, with maximum temperatures approaching the mid-40s in the desert and southern regions of Iraq, especially Basra and its surroundings. Winds will be variable, turning northwesterly and moderate in speed.

Baghdad is set to see temperatures around 40 degrees Celsius.

Based on the numerical model outputs, the capital, Baghdad, is not far from the direct impact of the hot air mass. Baghdad is expected to initially record maximum temperatures ranging between 39 and 41 degrees Celsius, amidst hot weather.

During the night hours, the weather will be moderate in the north and west of the country, and tend to be hot in the rest of the regions, God willing.
