وتراجع الإعصار إلى درجة عاصفة استوائية لدى وصوله إلى الجنوب الشرقي مع رياح قوية وأمطار غزيرة ضربت الساحل الشرقي لسيدني قبل أن يتجه إلى بحر تاسمانيا.
