Arab Weather - God willing, night temperatures are expected to drop again starting tonight, and will continue to drop until the middle of the week. The weather will be relatively cold at night in the highlands and eastern plains, and even colder in the peaks of the Sharah Mountains in the south of the Kingdom.
The latest numerical model outputs indicate a drop in minimum temperatures to between 12-14°C over the high mountainous areas and plains, including various parts of the capital, Amman. Meanwhile, minimum temperatures will be less than 12°C over the peaks of the Shara Mountains, amid relatively cool but refreshing weather. These minimum temperatures are the coldest since last spring.
The drop in nighttime temperatures coincides with a significant increase in surface humidity and the appearance of low-lying clouds. Fog forms in the high mountainous areas, especially in the north of the Kingdom, causing reduced horizontal visibility.
The weather at that time (i.e. after midnight and early morning) becomes unsuitable for outdoor sessions due to the combination of cool weather conditions and high relative humidity. Therefore, Arab Weather advises wearing a light coat to cope with the relatively cool weather during the dawn and early morning hours in the high mountainous areas and eastern plains.
