Arab Weather - The Director of the General Department of Weather and Climate Forecasts at the National Center of Meteorology, Hamza bin Abdulaziz Komi, confirmed that the rainy weather that affected the central and eastern regions of the Kingdom is one of the "unusual" rainy conditions in this period of the summer.

He explained that the climatic records of the inhabited monitoring stations of the National Center of Meteorology recorded in the cities of the central and eastern regions varying amounts of rain since 1993 for the months of "July and August", reaching the highest in the city of Al-Ahsa with 19 mm in 1993, while the amount of rain was in the capital Riyadh on Sunday 31 July 2022 AD 26,6 mm.
