The National Center for Meteorology warns: Weather disturbances will affect Riyadh until Tuesday... heavy rain, dust, and lightning.

The National Center for Meteorology in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia warned that the Riyadh region will be affected by a state of weather disturbances starting from Saturday 11-04-2026 until Tuesday 14-04-2026, including a number of governorates in the region, with expectations of the formation of cumulonimbus clouds and rainfall of varying intensity, God willing.

Forecasts indicate that rainfall may be moderate to heavy at times, accompanied by lightning and thunder, in addition to downdraft activity that may cause local dust storms in some areas.

According to forecasts, the weather conditions are expected to include the capital Riyadh, in addition to Al-Dilam, Al-Muzahmiya, Dhurma, Al-Qiddiya, Al-Diriyah, Hawtat Bani Tamim, Al-Hariq, Al-Kharj and Marat, especially during Saturday and Sunday, with the chances of rainfall to be renewed on Tuesday 14-04-2026.

The relevant authorities, including the Civil Defense, called for the need to take precautions and follow official instructions during the weather event, asking God to make it rain blessings and goodness and to spread its benefits to various regions.
