Arab Weather - The Kingdom has recently experienced normal summer weather with a complete absence of heat waves, a stark contrast to previous years when the Kingdom was hit by several heat waves as the summer season began. This is due to a number of factors that, God willing, have protected the Kingdom from heat waves.
The reason for the absence of heat waves is the presence of low-pressure systems over the Arctic and Eastern Europe, which led to the spread of high-pressure systems (heat domes) over large parts of Western Europe, causing heat waves in those regions.
While the upper air pressure system extended from time to time to the Levant, causing temperatures to rise, the high pressure system was not concentrated or directly over the Levant, which would have allowed for a heat wave.
God willing, the Kingdom is expected to remain on the edge of the hot air masses present in the north of the Arabian Peninsula until the last third of July. Consequently, the general characteristic of the weather will be that it will be a normal summer weather during the daytime hours, with temperatures in the early 30s Celsius in the mountains. The weather will quickly become pleasantly warm in the evening and night hours, with the northwesterly winds active.
Finally, temperatures are expected to rise in the second half of the month compared to the first half. The Arab Weather app provides seasonal forecasts for the next fourteen days, and you can also view the seasonal forecasts.
