ArabiaWeather.com - Sinan Khalaf - British media, quoting a number of environmental organizations, revealed that the strong winds that hit Britain in February of 2014 had caused the largest perennial trees in Britain to be uprooted.

The trees that are being talked about are a number of oak trees that are about 150 years old, and due to the huge roots and depth below the surface of the earth, they uprooted with them a large layer of the surrounding soil to leave behind a deep hole in the ground.

Environmental teams have announced the monitoring of more than 50 similar trees that were blown down by the wind in separate parts of Britain, and the attached photos in the album above show a number of these fallen trees and the holes they left in their place.
