وتتعرض منطقة جازان لهذه الحالة بشكل شبه يومي نتيجة لوقوعها ضمن النطاق الإستوائي غير المستقر لهذه الفترة من السنة وبالتالي تأثرها برياح موسمية رطبة تعمل على تطور حالة عدم الإستقرار بها مع ساعات العصر. 

 

ويتوقع أن تتجدد حالة عدم الإستقرار اليوم على  منطقة جازان مع ساعات العصر، لذا يحذر من تشكل السيول المحلية في بعض المناطق.
