موقع Arabiaweather.com – فوجأ سُكان "سانت ألبانز" إلى الشمال من مدينة لندن لدى استيقاظهم فجر الخميس الأول من أكتوبر بحُفرة إنهدامية يصلُ قطرها إلى ما يُقارب الـ 20 متراً.

 

وأكدت تقارير صحفية بريطانية أن الحُفرة لم تتسبب بسقوط ضحايا أو إصابات، لكنها تسببت بإثارة حالة من الرعب بين السُكان، و تم اجلاء عدة عائلات فيما انقطعت الكهرباء والغاز والمياه الجارية عن 58 منزلاَ.

 

وكانت خدمات الحرائق قد أبلغت يوم الأربعاء عن وجود حفرة صغيرة، تحولت بين عشية وضحاها إلى حفرة يصل عمقها إلى 10 أمتار.
