"The latest weather maps and analyzes of the National Center for Early Warning of Multiple Hazards indicate a tropical depression in the eastern Arabian Sea today, Friday, October 16, and the surface wind speed around the center is estimated at 17-25 knots (31-46 km / h), and is centered on a longitude ( 70.7 East) and latitude (17.8 ° N) near the Indian West Coast.

 

It is possible that the tropical depression will move westward towards the middle of the Arabian Sea without any direct impacts on the coast of the Sultanate during the next three days.

 

As meteorologists continue to analyze and follow the latest developments in the weather situation around the clock, calling for the follow-up of weather forecasts and reports issued by them on the development of the tropical situation.
