Weather of Arabia - The Kilauea volcano in Hawaii began erupting inside its upper crater, according to the US Geological Survey, less than a month after the volcano and its larger neighbor, "Mauna Loa", stopped spewing lava.

This eruption occurs at the summit of Kilauea within a closed area of the Hawaiian Volcanoes National Park, and the main danger is represented in the high levels of volcanic gas, as this danger can have far-reaching effects as it moves in the direction of the winds, as the volcano releases during its eruption large amounts of volcanic gas - It includes: primarily water vapor (H2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), and sulfur dioxide (SO2). Winds, Vog fog creates the potential for health hazards for residents and visitors, damages agricultural crops and other vegetation, and affects livestock.
Additional hazards include lightweight volcanic particles shot out of lava fountains and carried by wind to eventually fall to the ground, which can cause skin and eye irritation.
The Hawaiian Volcano Observatory (HVO) continues to closely monitor the Kilauea volcano in anticipation of other risks resulting from its eruption, including: instability of the crater wall, cracking of the ground, and rockslides that can be increased by earthquakes within the area, and this confirms the extremely dangerous nature of the rim surrounding the crater called Halemaʻumaʻu, an area closed to the public since early 2008.
