Arab Weather - The Public Security Directorate said that the high temperatures resulted in the failure of 100 vehicles in the capital, Amman.

The media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate said in a statement today, Tuesday, that the high temperatures led to the failure of the vehicles, due to the lack of inspecting the vehicles to ensure their availability, pointing out that these vehicles were dealt with and lifted from the road to maintain the flow of traffic.

For its part, the Traffic and External Patrols Department called for the necessity of inspecting vehicles in light of the heat wave that affects the Kingdom, strict adherence to traffic rules and not exceeding the set speeds.

The media spokesman pointed out that traffic controllers dealt with 236 accidents and 1526 reports during the past 24 hours.

On the other hand, the External Patrolling Department seized a vehicle traveling at a speed of 171 km per hour on the 100th street despite the weather conditions that prevailed yesterday, and the dust and rain due to the high temperature.
