ويعود سبب ذلك الى انخفاض الضغط الجوي شمالا نتيجة لاستمرار تواجد كتلة هوائية باردة فوق الحوض الشرقي للبحر الابيض المتوسط.

 

وتنخفض مدى الرؤية الافقية دون 2000 مترا في مناطق واسعة وربما اقل في المناطق المكشوفة.

 

وتتشكل السحب الرعدية ايضا في اجزاء محدودة من منطقة حائل والقصيم ساعات العصر تعمل على تساقط زخات الامطار المتفرقة.
