Warnings issued by the Ministry of Agriculture about the prevailing weather conditions in the coming days

Arab Weather - based on the follow-up of the information received by the Meteorological Department and the prediction of a deep depression accompanied by a cold air front that may be accompanied by strong winds and snow, and it may adversely affect some protected crops, so the Ministry of Agriculture stresses that caution and caution are taken and the following is necessary

First - Follow up on the weather, weather forecasts, and warnings broadcast through television and the media

Second : - Greenhouse farmers: -

1- Checking the sides of the greenhouse and fixing the plastic sheets

2- Close the side ventilation openings, front and rear doors (sealing greenhouses)

3- Putting weights from sand bags on top of houses (plastic sheets)

4- Create sewers to drain the water to avoid rainwater entering the greenhouses

5- Cleaning the collection basins of water collection wells from stones and solid materials

Third: livestock farmers: -

1- Keeping animals away from torrents, especially during and after the depression

2- Fixing the sheds with non-volatile and blunt materials

3- Cleaning the yards of the outdoor barns to ensure a good drainage of rain water to avoid infection of mastitis and chloe. And work to protect babies from cold and air currents.

4- Inspect the poultry stock and avoid water entering it while providing ventilation and not exposing it to air currents.

Third: - Hives:

Install cell covers and keep them away from streams and valleys.
