Coinciding with the month of Ramadan 2024 | The date of the spring equinox and the end of winter in Jordan

Weather of Arabia - The Jordanian Astronomical Society revealed that the vernal equinox will occur next Wednesday, the twentieth of March, in the northern hemisphere.

The president of the association, Ammar Al-Sakkji , explained that the hours of night and day will be approximately equal in Jordan on what is known as “Balance Day,” which falls on Saturday, the sixteenth of March 2024, with each of them being twelve hours.

He pointed out that sunrise will be at 6:44 am and sunset at 6:45 pm in Jordan on Tuesday, the nineteenth of March 2024.

It is worth noting that the reason for the occurrence of the four seasons is due to the Earth’s rotation around the sun with an axis tilted at an angle of 23.5 degrees.
